Seva Sadan Boarding house, based at Bamhori, was established in 1987 exclusively for Tribal girls, with the aim of providing quality education, leadership and creating gender equity. The first batch of 16 girls were enrolled in the boarding house in 1988 and started going to government school. At present there are 65 students in the Boarding house, who belong to 9th to XII standards. There are around 250 alumnai of the boariding house, who are engaged at various levels. Among the alumnai, 20 girls are nurses employed in government and private hospitals, 25 continue higher education at Bhopal, 99 are teachers in government schools, Anganwadis and private schools, and the rest are self-employed and house wives.
